Established by charter in 1932, the San Francisco Arts Commission is the city agency that champions the arts. With each new construction project, the Arts Commission has the opportunity to work with a diverse group of artists to create an atmosphere that reflects the innovation and creativity for which San Francisco is known and celebrated throughout the world.
