Joan Brown's 1971 painting Portrait of a Girl has been acquired by the Minneapolis Institute of Art. The work will be included in the upcoming exhibition New to Mia: Paintings of All Shapes and Sizes!, highlighting recent aquisitions at MIA by modern and contemporary artists across genres and cultures. The exhibition will be on view through March 24, 2019.
