Enrique Chagoya will be speaking at the San Francisco Hunters Point Shipyard later this month. Enrique Chagoya: His New Paintings, Aliens Sans Frontières, an artist’s slide talk, is the third program in the To The Point series. Chagoya will speak about his recent work, which focuses on immigration and colonialism. He relies on two ideas—“reverse anthropology” and “reverse modernism”—which are intended to force his audience rethink the way they see the world.

The talk takes place Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 2 pm at the San Francisco Hunters Point Shipyard, Building 101, The Auditorium, 101 Horn Avenue, San Francisco CA 94124.
