Selections from the Blue and White Series
In the Drawing Gallery
Dec 1 - Dec 31, 1995
During December the gallery will show a selection from James McGarrell's monotype series titled Blue and White. The series, which numbers some twenty works in all, depicts fantastic interiors and landscapes, and features a limited palette of gradations of blue and white. The series originated with a group of porcelain tiles the artist made in 1990 and 1991, several of which are included in the exhibition.
